Here are some pictures of Christmas. This is a gift that Nana and Papa martin gave the boys. It is a fake fish tank that looks totally real. Carter falls asleep to it every night. The boys love them.

Here is Weston with his beloved Trans Formers movie. He was so excited. Thanks Nana and Papa.
Here is Papa Liston and Carter opening the toy that Papa and Mimi Liston gave him. Carter has loved playing with it every day.
Here is Dad helping Carter opening his fish tank. He got a glove from Santa and he did not put it down all day.
We had a wonderful Christmas with my parents in town. The boys have had so much fun playing with Papa and Mimi.

I have been tagged

Traci tagged me so here are my 7 random things about me.

1.I really hate doing my hair. I hate how long it take me to do. If I could I would be bald.

2. I love listening to Glen Beck. I like his insight into everything.

3. I sleep with a body pillow. It drives Chris nuts but I have been sleeping that way since I was 10.

4. I love to vacuum. After I had carter I could not vacuum for 2 weeks because of my c-section and it drove me nuts.

5.I have stayed at a bed and breakfast inn where they filmed a Stephen King Movie.

6. I enjoy going on walks with my family on Sunday afternoons.

7. My favorite time of year is Fall.

Rudd Family Christmas Party

We went to the Rudd Christmas party. This is my moms side of the family. It was good to see all of my cousins and Grandma. Weston was excited to play with his second cousins.

Here is Carter having a melt down because he did not want us to take his picture.
Here are the boys waiting to see Santa. I have no clue who the girl in the back is. I laughter when I got the pictures on my computer and saw it.
Here is Weston with Santa telling him that he wants Transformers for Christmas.
And for course Carter is not sure about Santa. Maybe its because we keep telling him that Santa is going to come take his pacifiers so other babies can have them.

Christmas Fun

So here are some pictures of different things around our house.

Here is the outside of your house. Chris really enjoys putting lights on the house.
Here is our tree.
This is our ginger bread house. Weston has been asking to make one. Of course as soon as we made it he wanted to eat it.
Weston has also been wanting to make a snowman. I asked my neighbor if we could use his lawn to make a snowman. We don't have any grass in our yard.
And this is what happens when Weston gets my camera.

What a Trip!

Well we are back safe and sound from our trip to WA. We really had a fun time seeing family and friends. We had a wonderful thanksgiving dinner with Chris' family. His sister Anne put everything together and she did a wonderful job with the dinner.

This is Great Grandma Edgar. She was very happy to see us and have us stay one night at her house on the way up to Puyallup. She lives in Richland. She has not see Weston sense he was 2 and she has never seen Carter. It was good to see her and we are glad that see is doing so well.
The boys loved feeding the ducks at a park Chris used to play at as a kid. Later on in the week we came down to the same park and took a big family picture with Chris's whole family. We are excited to see how they turned out.
Here are the boys playing the piano with Papa. Papa can play by ear and the boys loved to play and sing with him.
On thanksgiving day Weston pulled Nana aside and asked if they could make a Cornapoopiahh. Nana started laughing and told him that yes they could make a Cornucopia. He was very proud and told us the meaning of it.
We took the boys to the Seattle Center and they had a blast. We went to a science museum and saw all sorts of things. Weston really enjoyed the dinosaur exhibit. Carter was just excited to be there. They even got to ride go on some rides including the farriswheel.

Antelope Island

So on monday night we went to Antelope Island for FHE. It has been a joke in

our marriage because Chris has always wanted to go there for some reason. I never wanted to and now after living in utah for 5 years and having a plain view from our new house Chris finally got his wish. Not much there but buffalo and sage brush. Got some pretty pics though.

An Accomplishment for Chris

Chris had one of his dreams come true. He had his name in the credits for helping record the Tabernacle Christmas CD. His name is real small at the bottom. We are very proud of him.

I suggest that everyone buys this album. Sissel is the guest singer and she is amazing. You can never go wrong when it comes to the Tabernacle choir.

Our Artist

Weston loves to draw. I can't count how many note books I have that are full of his drawings. He came to me the other day and said the following.
"Mom when I get older I want to be an Artist, and when I get tired of drawing I will come home and live with you."
I guess what ever makes me happy. I just hopes that does not include coming back and living with us.

Carter being a dinosaur

I got this video clip yesterday when carter came down the stairs. He is being a dinosaur. He put the shirt in his head himself. This kid cracks me up.

My sweet Weston

Weston was outside the other day playing with side walk chalk. He called me over and this is what he had drawn. It is kind of hard to make out but it says mom loves Weston. He was so proud of himself.
This is Weston's school picture. This is just a picture of the picture. He is loving school and loves his teacher. He is doing really well.

Hooper Pumpkins

Well for family home evening we went to go find pumpkins. To our surprise we came across this farmer who had a pumpkin patch. So we went through the patch ourselves and picked pumpkins. The boys had a blast. The best part of this whole story is that it only cost us 9$ for 10 pumpkins and 14 stocks of corn. It was only $2 an arm load.

My Awesome Hubby

Chris has reached a wonderful milestone for his career. He along with the other sound engineers at the conference center had a huge article written up about them in this magazine. I have not been able to get the link to the article or the picture of Chris but I found the cover. The article is about the Tabernacle, equipment and the tour that they went on this summer. This is a little blurb that the magazine publisher wrote.
LIVE FROM SALT LAKE
I am sure you have noticed our big cover piece on the audio system at Temple Square’s Conference Center for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. It is amazing to me how sophisticated and integrated these events have become. The choir’s performances utilize audio gear and techniques encompassing live, installation and broadcast categories. And they even took the show out on the road using a myriad of high-end system components. My hat is off to these folks for their dedication to quality. Every piece of gear was carefully selected for its performance parameters — regardless of cost.
I am so proud of Chris and how hard he works for our family and the Lord. He really loves what he does. We are so blessed by his job in so many ways. Way to go honey!!!!!!!

Fall Days

I love Fall. I love the crisp air and wearing sweaters. We where outside the other day talking to our neighbor and the boys hooped on the neighbors little 4 wheeler. They had a blast going up and down the street.

Notice the thumbs up they give me for the picture. Where did they learn this from?

From Papa Liston
