Crazy boys

We have had a fun week. Nana and Papa Martin came into town last weekend. We had a fun time with them. It is always fun to see them. The boys love there Helicopter papa and Nana.
Mimi also happened to come into town last weekend. We had fun hanging out with her also. She gave the boys these silly glasses. The boys thought they where hilarious.

Weston is doing well at school. He loves his teacher and his friends. Oh it snowed on Saturday. It was crazy. Weston was all confused about the seasons. Thank goodness mimi talked to him about the seasons and how they work. Sorry that I have nothing to share that is too exciting. But life in not always exciting.

Apple boy

Weston is totally my child. He loves apples. When I was little I was the same way. He eats up to three apples a day. He is such a sweet boy. I am grateful to be his mom.

Boys Curtains

I made curtains for the boys rooms. Carters room is a sports theme. He loves all sports. I found these stickers you can put on the walls and they come right off. The fabric is footballs, baseballs, basketballs, and soccer balls.
We had a harder time figuring out what to do with Weston's room. It was going to be fly fishing than trains and then hunting. Finally we saw these old looking airplanes at a store and decided to do airplanes for his room.

Yard Work

We have started working in the yard. My very handy husband who knows how to do everything rented a tracker to work in the yard. The ground here in Hooper is awful. The boys loved helping dad on the tractor. We had three loads of top soil brought in and a load of rocks. We still have a lot of work to do.

Packing Peanuts and Spaghetti

So what does packing peanuts and spaghetti have in common? I will tell you they make a MESS.

I was trying to do something important and let the boys alone in the play room with a big box full of packing peanuts. Well needless to say when I came back to the play room the peanuts where all over the room. It took me 45 mins to clean them up.

Everyone know that spaghetti makes a mess. But when you add a two year old into the mix it is even worse.

Obedient

My cute little Carter has done some funny things lately. At times he has been very obedient. For Example, we where at Walmart in the check out line. Carter was looking at the candy and picking them up. I looked at him and said "set it down." I meant for him to set the candy down. I turned back and looked at the check out girl and then she started laughing. I looked back at Carter and he had sat down on the ground and was looking at me like "now what mom." I started laughing and realized who wonderful it is to be a mom.

It is really good to know that he wants to be obedient and will listen to me. To be honest it is the other way around most of the time.
