Introducing....

Yes this is a picture of an ultrasound. We are excited to announce that we are expecting our third child. This ultrasound was taken when I was only 8 weeks along so there is really not a whole lot to see. I went on Clomid (its a fertility drug) to get pregnant and they wanted to make sure there was only one baby. Much to my relief there is only one. I am 12 weeks now and feeling better. This pregnancy has been different than my last two. I have been a lot sicker with this one. Everyone says that it is going to be a girl.

When I went to my Dr apt today we where able to hear the heart beat. I had to call Chris and he heard it over the phone. He is really busy getting ready for President Hinkleys funeral on Saturday so he was not able to come to the apt with me.

Everything is looking good for now. I will keep you all updated. Any suggestions for names.

President Hinckley

I have been wondering what to write about president Hinckley. I am not one to be able to express my self in words very well. All I can say is this. He was a true prophet of God. He gave us the greatest example of how to live the gospel. I hope that all of us can remember that example and hold on to it.

Imagination

Weston has a very vivid imagination. He is always thinking of new things to invent, draw, or make. This was one of his latest ideas. He is super Weston. He took one of his shirts and drew a W for Weston on it. The mask is one of those wrestling masks from Mexico. Just like on Nacho Libre. My parents got it when they went on vacation. I am so proud of how he can use his imagination to keep himself busy. It is never a dual moment.

Mohawk

Carter has taken a huge interest in combing his hair. He will spend 30 minuets in the bathroom getting it just right. When we went to church on Sunday Chris put his hand on Carters head and Carter freaked out saying his hair was messed up. I had to take him to the bathroom and fix it.

A few days ago he came down with a Mohawk. I have no clue how he did this himself but he did.

The Aftermath

So this is what you get when you have kids throwing up for 3 days and you have no time to fold the laundry that needed to be washed.

Sick Kids update

Carter woke up sick today. Thank goodness I only have two kids. I can't image having 6 kids and the sickness going through all of them.

Sick Kids

I don't think that there is anything worse than having sick kids. Weston got sick last night and I ended up taking him to the hospital. We could not get him to stop throwing up. He was like clock work every 30 mins he would throw up. At the hospital they gave him some anti nausea medication. He was finally able to stop throwing up and keep some fluids in his body. Things today are much better thank goodness! Lets just pray that no one else gets sick. Sorry I don't have any more exciting news life is not that exciting at the Martin House hold.

Let it Snow

We have gotten a lot of snow this week. Here are a few pictures of the fun we have had.

Our neighbor Scott let Chris use his 4x4 to pull the kids on a sled. The kids had a blast. The boy in the green coat is our neighbor boy.
Here is Weston shoveling the snow. He was so excited that morning that he came outsidein ths pj's.
This is Weston with his snowman he built all by himself. He found the rocks for the eyes and mouth. His arms are white zip ties and his hat is a clear plastic jar. This kid has quite the imagination.

Catch up!!

We have had a wonderful Holiday season. Mimi and Papa Liston came out for Christmas and we had a blast with them. Weston was able to go fly fishing with papa and catch a few fish. Papa also took him to Cabela's. Mimi help me tons with cooking and things like that. Thanks mom!!!

We spent New Years eve by ourselves. It was the first time sense we got engaged that Chris did not have to work on New Years Eve. Because I have not been feeling well I was in bed by 10:30. What is the big hype about New Years anyway?

We are trying to get back into our routine again. Weston went back to school yesterday. He was glad about that but I think I was more excited than him.

We got our dog back from our uncles. The boys have been so happy to have her back home. They love to play with her and she loves it too.

I guess it is back to normal life now. Thank goodness!!
