So Proud of My Husband!

We have been very busy around our house over the past two weeks. Chris had the assignment for work to go down to Brazil and run the sound for the Temple Dedication and Day of Celebration Broadcasts and Events. He has been looking forward to this trip for about a year and a half now. One of his favorite companions from his mission in Washington D.C. is from the city ( Curtiba, Brazil) where the new Temple is located. He was able to hang out with his mission companion all week long. This ended up being a huge blessing. His compaion became the translator for everyone from Salt Lake. Chris's mission companion help with the huge language barrier and was able to interface with the local companies the Church had hired to provide equipment for the events.

This is Chris and Isiais. They are standing at the Mixing console located at the Kyrocera Soccer Stadium in Curtiba, where the day of Celebration was held.

The middle picture is of Chris standing on the stage just prior to President Monsons' arrival for the Member meeting and cultural event. The picture above is of Chris in the mechanical room directly below the Celestial Room in the Temple mixing sound for the live broadcast to all the members in Brazil.

As Bishop Greg Palmer once said: "Chris, You're a good guy..." The inflection and tone cannot be communicated through text, but as it states in Galatians "By their fruits ye shall know them."

We are proud to call Chris & Hillary our friends. I've watched Chris evolve from the realms of Tupac and 2Live Crew to the Tab Choir and the holy halls of the House of the LORD.

The Church is truly blessed to have souls such as this serving so diligently (for a good day's pay no doubt... you gotta feed the family.) And don't forget about the 3 hour Rush concert he missed in Boise with Jordan & Randy (and Myself of course.)

Wish you could have been there dude.

Respectfully,
-Jay McGregor

Thank you for being such a great father and husband to my lil sister! You are setting a great example to your boys of how important the temple is. Awesome!!!
